The units are new-fashioned, fashionable with 2 separate beds. The location of the hotel is marvellous and incredible, near an underground station.

The hotel was tidy and had extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff at the reception desk. The room was beautifully designed and functional with a queen size bed included. Having hairdryers, a walk-in shower and towels was a bonus. The location was particularly good, right next to a metro station. Had nice dainties at Prologue Coffee Room, located right next to the property.

Staff were friendly, provided the best map of the city, and internet access
Rooms very small but adequate, carpet was worn and stained, proximity to subway although handy in the daylight hours was noisy at night ie room 'shook',

The location of this place was very convenient, located near multiple subway lines at Canal St, better than we've experienced previously.

Great staff and location.
Tiny room, even by nyc standards. My reservation was for a room with 2 twin beds but when I checked in they only had a queen room available. Very tight quarters for 2 friends travelling together.

Great location, clean rooms
Unhelpful staff - friendly, but didn't help with our issues. Safety box was locked and after third promise to open the box, we just stopped asking. Our friends had the same problem – for them the answer was: "the previous guest probably has the backup key". Also, the hotel did credit card authorization/hold twice for the whole amount, thus maxing out my credit card. When I demanded they do something, they denied everything and did nothing. My bank confirmed the hotel's error.

It was where I wanted it to be and the most affordable option.
Weird smell in the elevator. They did not restock my coffee maker in the room when they cleaned up.

The location is really good: in the middle of Manhattan, close to the subway and within walking distance to the downtown. Decent internet connection.
The floors in the room and the bathroom could have been cleaner, but otherwise OK.

Location great, poised between Lower East Side, Soho, Tribeca and West Village. King-sized bed the best. Close to great restaurants on Lafayette.
Elevator a bit musty.
